As an Individual I’ve tried and tested a quite a few things in regard to health and fitness over the years. I’ve tested a hell of a lot of nutritional and training method over the years. Some have worked for me, many haven’t.
I first got put in touch with Gavin Allinson by a close friend of mine called Sy Wygall, a former guest on The Inspiration Space. Sy brought it to my attention that Gav was a big advocate for powdered ketones. It was at a time where I was looking to lean up a little bit and introduce a bit more of a structure to my nutrition. This episode talks predominantly about the Ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting and how powdered ketones can be effective. Let me just say that last bit again, CAN BE EFFECTIVE. It is important to state that by simply going on a ketogenic diet, putting yourself through intermittent fasting and by taking powdered ketones that you are going to miraculously get the results you want. This podcast is also an outlet to learn about different approaches to health fitness and mindset. Gavin is an extremely smart guy and has worked with some top level sports and nutritionist experts. So listen to what he has to say and take what you can from it.
Gav is a certified Sports Nutritionist with the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN) and also studied Applied Biology at Bath University. He played rugby at Championship Level for Coventry in the 90’s, competed at Henley in rowing, won European Championships in Indoor rowing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as completing an IronMan triathlon.
Gavin consults with individual athletes and members of the public particularly in terms of weight management and body transformation as well as writing articles for many websites and magazines. He has developed expertise in the use of the ketogenic diet, prolonged fasting and exogenous ketones.
He has authored a book ‘20Essential recipes- every one should know how to cook’ and has developed the Keto Fast Start Lifestyle Management and Fat Loss Course.
This is a really interesting episode to listen to guys. If you are interested in purchasing some exogenous ketones then head over toWww.exogenousketones.net/store. Listen to the experiences I had with them on this episode. It was at a time when my activity levels were extremely high but they definitely were a huge component in getting me into the leanest state id been in in over a year.
